Our Services

Our Analysis in Summary

Biodegradation Analysis

We evaluate how a material decomposes through microorganisms, transforming its organic carbon into CO₂. This allows us to determine its environmental impact and whether it is suitable for composting or natural environments.

Test Standards and Conditions

  • ISO 14855, ISO 17556, ISO 23517, ISO 22404, ISO 23977, ISO 19679

Disintegration Analysis

We simulate industrial composting conditions to observe whether a material breaks down and integrates into the compost without leaving visible traces. This is a key step in assessing its compostability.

Test Standards and Conditions

  • ISO 20200, ISO 23832

Ecotoxicity Analysis

Ecotoxicity analysis checks whether materials can harm living organisms in the soil, such as earthworms, plants, or microbes, helping to ensure their compatibility with the natural environment.

Test Standards and Conditions

  • OCDE 208, ISO 11268-1, ISO 11268-2, ISO 15685

Chemical Characterization

We analyze the composition of the material as a first step toward understanding its nature and structure. Through parameters such as total organic carbon (TOC), moisture content, volatile matter, pH, conductivity, and total nitrogen, we obtain a solid foundation on which to build the rest of the environmental performance tests.

Other Analysis

We know that developing new materials involves multiple challenges, which is why we also offer complementary tests, such as the physical characterization of materials, that can support different phases of the process. These include migration tests, wash resistance tests, shelf life studies, and other specific analyses on demand.
