World Migration Bird Day

🐦Last Saturday we celebrated World Migratory Bird Day remembering its importance of conservation of migratory birds and their habitats. This day offers us an opportunity to reflect on the challenges that birds and our ecosystem encounter on a daily basis.

👩‍🔬 Plastic pollution is a major threat to birds, causing them to become trapped, ingest it and even use it to build their nests. Studies show that more than 60% of birds have plastic in their stomach.

🤝Due to our commitment for creating a sustainable future, we believe this is a day to highlight in the fight against plastic pollution. To accomplish this objective, we engage in collaborations with companies focused on the development of biodegradable and non-ecotoxic bioplastics. In doing so, we take pride in contributing to a sustainable transition aimed at minimizing harm to animals and living organisms, in contrast to conventional plastics.
