At CEBIMAT, we work to enable a transition toward more sustainable materials. With over 20 years of experience, we collaborate with companies, research centers, and Universitat Jaume I (UJI) on testing, research, and knowledge transfer to drive solutions that protect the environment.

Our Mission

At CEBIMAT, we carry out standardised biodegradation, disintegration and ecotoxicity tests to demonstrate that the materials reaching the market are safe for the environment and compatible with the principles of the circular economy.

Our mission is to provide solid scientific evidence to validate whether a material is truly sustainable. Through laboratory testing, we assess its biodegradability, disintegration capacity, and absence of toxicity, accompanying companies on their journey toward a more sustainable future and true environmental respect.
